Application requirements for Doctor or PH.D. candidates.

A candidate for the degree of Doctor or  PhD is someone who needs the necessary skills to engage in an important job ( professor, research, studies, multinational company, business, etc ...), obtain a work visa, edit books or professional articles, and integrate in groups or professional associations to inform and take advantage of every professional, social or personal opportunities that interest them.

Access to the doctorate is awarded to candidates who have completed the coursework and demonstrated the theoretical competence leading to a dissertation that the faculty recognizes as a contribution to the literature of the discipline. The minimum credits are 30, justified under the control of the E.I.U after registration. The dissertation is a study intended for the candidate to develop independent specialized knowledge in the service of his profession. It consists of three main components:. The analytical exhibition, the critical context, and the integrative conclusions

In the E.I.U, the result of the context of the study and implementation of the student's purpose are both direct precursors for the candidate to obtain his or her doctorate. A departmental committee will direct the progress of the dissertation, as in a traditional university.
At the time the thesis is published, the set of written articles or an equivalent achievement in the field chosen by the student, may be submitted instead of an essay, thus serving as a summary of his or her research.
